Successfully complete an approved sales pre-license real estate course of at least 60 hours |

Pass the end of course school exam with a grade of at least 70%. |

Submit application, passing notice for examination and licensee fee of $170.00 (processing takes at least 3 weeks and application must be completed within 1 year of passing the state examination.) You must be affiliated with a broker in order to have an active license. |

The other courses may consist of brokerage, real estate law, real estate investments, real estate finance and real estate appraisal. The maximum allowable credit for a single broker specific course 60 hours and 45 hours for single broker related course. |

Every licensee must complete 16 hours of CE every 2 years, 8 of the 16 hours must include training in these required topics: 3 hrs ethics and standards of conduct, 2 hrs fairhousing, 1 hr legal updates and emerging trends, 1 hr real estate contracts, 1 hr real estate agency. The remaining 8 hrs may be in any related real estate subject matter. |

Every licensee must complete 24 hours of CE every 2 years. This must include 3 hrs ethics and standards of conduct, 2 hrs fairhousing, 1 hr legal updates and emerging trends, 1 hr real estate contracts, 1 hr real estate agency. 8 hrs relating to supervision and management of Real Estate agents and mangement of real estate brokerage firms. The remaining 8hrs may be in any related real estate subject matter. (Effective July 1, 2008) |
